Presentation of the project Historia de los Autores y Transmisores Andalusíes (H.A.T.A.), started in 1988 with the financial help of the former Instituto de Cooperación con el Mundo Árabe and carried out in the Departament of Arabic Studies (Instituto de Filología - CSIC). The aim of H.A.T.A. is to offer researchers information on the Andalusī intellectual production preserved in the primary sources, the most important secondary sources and catalogues of manuscrits. The material is organized according to disciplines and within each discipline in chronological order. The covered period goes from the 2nd/8th century to the 9th/15th century. The production by Mudejars and Moriscos is not included, nor the Arabic production by Jews and Christians.
