La «historia de los omeyas de al-Andalus» en los Masālik al-Abṣār

The Māsilik al-abṣār by Ibn Faḍl Allāh al-'Umarī contains a brief summary of the Umayyad history in al-Andalus. In this article, the textual relationship between this passage and the Muqtabis by Ibn Ḥayyān is analysed. Ibn Ḥayyān's chronicle has proved to be the most important source used by al-'Umarī to compose this chapter.
